Riding high after the success of blockbuster film Rock On, actress Koel Purie believes her new hair cut has brought her luck - her performance was highly appreciated and she has many offers coming her way. "Ever since I got this new hair cut, my life has changed completely. I have so many things in my kitty and the best part is I'm enjoying every moment of it," said Koel. "I am not superstitious, but seriously I can feel the difference. I am a very hard working person, but it never paid off. But this time, everything is just falling in place. Things are happening now," she said. Koel has been getting calls from her friends and fans, who can't stop raving about her performance in Rock On. "It was a male-centric movie and my role was very small. I was not expecting such an overwhelming response for this role. Yet it has been noticed and I'm really happy about it," she said. "I have been doing off-beat characters for a while now and when this offer came in, I just grabbed it because I could relate to the movie the moment I heard the script as it is all about friendship and love, which is a universal feeling," she added. Rock On revolves round a group of four aspiring musicians who form a rock band called Magik. It is led by singer Aditya (Farhan) and has temperamental guitarist Joe Mascarenhas (Arjun Rampal), talented keyboard player Rob (Luke Kenny) and drummer Kedar Zaveri (Purab Kohli). Apart from her regular Bollywood assignments, the other thing that is keeping the actress busy is her talk show on news channel Headlines Today, On the Couch with Koel. In this show, Koel takes her red couch anywhere - be it a garden, a room, a celebrity's house - and starts a conversation with a well-known personality every episode.
